My face looks dull by the afternoon. Has anyone tried managing their skin tone with laser treatments? Haha.
I don't know if it's just me, but my face looks so different in the morning and afternoon lol
My face looks pretty good until I put on makeup and leave in the morning. However, when I look in the bathroom mirror around 3 or 4 PM, my face suddenly looks dull. I thought maybe my makeup had just worn off, so I even tried changing my cushion foundation, but there wasn't much difference.
I am most bothered by the uneven skin tone, especially around my mouth and cheeks. It’s not like I have any dark spots or large blemishes anywhere, but I guess you could say my whole face doesn't look clean and clear... It is even more noticeable when I look at myself without makeup.
I became interested for the first time because a colleague at work said they are consistently getting laser treatments for their skin tone.
The problem is that the more I look, the more names there are lol. There's toning, Pico, and all sorts of other things, but I have no idea which one I actually need.
In my case, would it be okay if I just mentioned that I am concerned about my skin tone when I go for a consultation? Or would it be better to go with a general idea of the laser treatments I want to receive?
And honestly, I don't think I'll see a dramatic change after just one session. Instead, I'm curious if receiving treatments consistently will lead to changes, such as my bare face looking a bit cleaner or my skin tone becoming more even!!
For those of you who have received laser treatments for skin tone, at what point did you usually feel like the money was worth it? 3 sessions? 5? Or do you need to keep getting them for much longer? Haha.
I'm not too worried about the pain, but I'm a little concerned about my skin drying out. I tend to have internal dryness, so in the winter, if I don't apply something right after washing my face, it feels tight. I'm also wondering if I need to pay much more attention to moisturizing than usual once the laser treatment starts.
Oh, and I'm also wondering if it's okay to start in the summer. The sunlight is so strong these days that I'm worried the pigmentation might get worse if I start now.
