Even if your skin looks clear, you can see a lot of fine wrinkles up close. Has anyone tried managing skin elasticity with laser treatments?
My concern isn't pigmentation or acne, but fine lines haha.
My skin itself is generally trouble-free and doesn't have many blemishes, so I haven't been particularly interested in dermatological procedures until recently. However, after switching to a lighter base makeup routine, something suddenly caught my eye.
There were really a lot of tiny lines under my eyes and on the upper part of my cheeks.
It is a style where, rather than a single distinct line like a deep wrinkle, several fine lines appear when you slightly move your skin or smile.
At first, I thought it was because my skin was dry, haha. So I slathered on plenty of moisturizer and tried using face masks diligently. It definitely looks less noticeable on days when my skin is hydrated, but it doesn't feel like the problem is completely resolved.
I started looking into laser treatments because I wondered if my skin elasticity was gradually decreasing due to age.
However, when I search, there are far more results about pigment lasers, so I am curious about how the consultation process works for those like me who are getting laser treatments for skin elasticity or fine wrinkles.
What I want is not to change my face shape or feel a strong tightening sensation. I just want my skin surface to feel a bit firmer and for foundation to settle into fine lines less when I wear makeup.
With this level of concern, would I be able to feel a noticeable change if I received a laser treatment?
I am also curious if the results of this elasticity care become visible after a month or two, rather than immediately after the procedure. Friends who have only had procedures that show immediate results said there is a waiting period, but it seems to vary significantly depending on the type of treatment.
I'm more worried about dryness than pain. My skin is naturally on the dry side, so I'm wondering if it might temporarily become rougher or develop flaky skin after the laser treatment.
If there is anyone out there who started laser treatments because they were unhappy with fine lines or skin elasticity like me, I'm a little curious to know around what age you started your care haha. I'm wondering if I'm starting too early, but on the other hand, I'm also wondering if it's better to start before they get deeper.
Please share your experience on which method was more satisfying: receiving one strong massage or receiving gentle massages multiple times.
