It’s upsetting to see my skin tone look dull every time I look in the mirror due to darkened freckles from outdoor activities or blemishes caused by UV rays. I can’t exactly give up my hobby, though...
There are definitely limits to caring for my skin with basic cosmetics or whitening essences, and even when I try to cover them with makeup, the blemished areas look dull. So, I am planning to undergo laser treatment to break down melanin pigments in the dermis. However, I have heard that due to the nature of melasma treatment, improper stimulation can actually darken the pigmentation or cause uneven skin tone as a side effect. Therefore, I am concerned about the selection of the treatment equipment and the adjustment of the treatment intensity. I am also wondering how many days of recovery time are typically required for the redness, burning sensation, and fine red marks that appear immediately after the procedure to subside and for the skin to stabilize.
In addition, would there have been a greater synergistic effect in building the skin's foundation when receiving combined treatments such as Pico Toning or whitening skin boosters?
