If I want to get laser treatment before an important event, how far in advance should I get it to be safe?
I have a photoshoot next month and want to get my skin done, but I can't seem to schedule a laser treatment date.
Since it is my first time getting a laser treatment, I wasn't sure how red my skin would get after the procedure or when the effects would be most visible.
I would like my skin tone to look clearer overall and be less bothered by blemishes.
However, I'm worried that getting laser treatment right before an important event might actually be more stressful if it leaves redness or scabs.
Generally, how many weeks before an important schedule would it be best to get the laser treatment?
I am wondering if about a week is sufficient, or if it is better for first-time patients to allow at least two weeks.
I think the recovery period will vary significantly depending on the type of laser.
I would like to know if there are any products that allow me to apply makeup immediately on the same day or the next, or if it is better to let my skin rest for a few days.
Since I absolutely have to wear makeup on weekdays, I think getting it done on Friday and recovering over the weekend is the most realistic schedule.
And does the effect look more natural after a few days rather than immediately after the procedure?
If blemishes temporarily darken or peeling occurs, I think you should be extra careful right before the scheduled date.
If this is my first laser treatment, would it be better to try it once beforehand and see my skin's reaction, rather than trying it for the first time right before an important photoshoot?
I don't want a drastic change; I just want my skin to look a little clearer haha.
If anyone has received laser treatment before an important event like a photoshoot or trip, please let me know how far in advance you felt most at ease.
I am also curious about the recovery period and when the effects seemed best.
