Is it possible for the skin to become drier or more sensitive after receiving laser treatment?

I want to try a laser treatment, but my skin is on the sensitive side, so that's my biggest concern.

Even normally, when I'm not feeling well, I feel a tight sensation after washing my face, and if I use the wrong new cosmetic product, it sometimes stings or turns red immediately.

So when I look at laser reviews, I tend to look more at the post-procedure reactions than the effects, haha.

Some people said their skin became smooth, while others said it was dry and sensitive for a few days, so it seems there is a big difference from person to person.

Is it common for the skin to feel temporarily tight or peel after receiving a laser treatment?

If such a reaction occurs, I am also curious if it usually gets better after a few days.

My makeup tends to cake when my skin gets too dry, so the recovery period is important to me because of my work schedule.

If I get the treatment on Friday evening and focus on moisturizing over the weekend, will I be able to go about my normal life on Monday?

I am also wondering if it is better to take a break from functional products or exfoliation products for a while after laser treatment.
