For melasma that deepens on the cheeks and cheekbones in late autumn, is it possible to combine a Pico Toning consultation with a Vitamin C serum?

Hello, I am writing to inquire about a consultation because the melasma on my cheeks and cheekbones seems to have noticeably darkened this autumn. I have heard that exposure to UV rays throughout the summer takes a while to manifest as pigmentation, and looking in the mirror lately, it feels like the blemishes have definitely settled in, which is concerning. My skin tone also looks generally dull, so I am hoping for a tone-up effect as well. I am considering Pico Toning or laser toning for blemishes, and I am curious about how the treatment cycle and number of sessions are typically determined based on the condition of the pigmentation. I would also appreciate it if you could let me know if there is any pre-treatment care that would be beneficial. At home, I have been managing my skin tone with a Vitamin C serum lately; the photo shows the serum I apply every morning. I would like to ask if I should stop applying it before and after the procedure, or if it is okay to continue doing so. Since my skin is sensitive due to the change of seasons, I would be grateful if you could assess during the consultation whether it is safe to combine laser treatment with gentle skincare.
