What should I try first for acne treatment?

My skin suddenly broke out and it's really stressing me out.

I used to have occasional breakouts, but recently they keep popping up on my chin and cheeks.

It feels like as soon as one thing subsides, another one pops up somewhere else, so it's really exhausting.

It seems to get worse especially before and after my period, so I'm wondering if it's due to hormones.

Even when I try to cover it up with makeup, the bumpy parts are visible, so it bothers me.

I can't even bring myself to touch it because I'm afraid it might leave a scar or hyperpigmentation if I do.

I tried switching out various home care products, but they didn't have as big an effect as I expected.

It's frustrating that it keeps popping up even though I'm mainly using mild products.

So now I'm considering getting proper acne treatment.

I looked it up and found that there are really a wide variety of acne treatment methods.

There are ways to get prescriptions for medication or ointments at a dermatology clinic, and there are also various procedures available.

I'm not even sure which method works for my skin.

Rather than receiving unconditionally strong treatment, I would prefer a direction that reduces recurrence.

I am curious to know what the actual effects were like for those who have received acne treatment.

I would also like to know how many times you felt your skin improved after receiving treatment.

I am also wondering if noticeable effects can be seen after just one or two sessions, or if I need to receive it consistently.

I would also like to hear from those who have personally experienced the benefits of acne treatment.

I'm also curious if the inflammatory acne has decreased, or if the skin texture and red marks have improved as well.

I have a problem with new breakouts, but I'm also really worried about the marks that linger for a long time.

So, I want to know if acne treatment helps to some extent with existing marks as well.

I am also curious if my skin became more sensitive or dry after the treatment.

It is also important whether you can receive it while working.

I think it might be a bit difficult to schedule if the recovery period is long, such as with redness or peeling.

It seems like the costs vary greatly from hospital to hospital, so I'm also curious about the satisfaction level relative to the price.
