Can I start with exfoliating the bumpy skin on the outer side of my arm?

Planned branch to visit: Maypure Hongdae Station Branch

When I see small, bumpy areas on the outer side of my arm, could I first get it checked to see if it is simply a buildup of dead skin cells or another condition related to pores? Terms like "chicken skin" or "keratosis pilaris" are frequently used online, but I am not sure if I should conclude they are the same condition just because they look similar. I would like to know if it would be helpful to describe the appearance with the eyes and the rough texture separately.

In late autumn, since this area is covered by long sleeves, I imagine you might be more concerned about the sensation of clothing brushing against it or dryness than the appearance itself. If there is a mix of areas that look like red spots and raised skin-colored areas, I would like to know if you check them separately. If the condition of both arms differs, would it be better to show you both rather than just the one with the worse condition?

When caring for my skin at home, it is easy to think of scrubs or exfoliating towels in the hope of achieving a smooth finish, but I would like to ask first if my skin is in a condition suitable for such methods. I am curious how to distinguish between areas that can be managed with just moisturization and those that require other treatments. I would also like to know if it would be helpful to organize the cleansers and lotions I am currently using before switching body products.

I am also curious about how management goals are set. Do reducing the rough texture to the touch require a different approach than lightening the red or brown marks left behind? Just because visible spots remain doesn't necessarily mean the treatment hasn't been done at all, so I would like to know what criteria are used to monitor the progress.

If I am considering this procedure, I would like to know if I can approach it in the same way as facial exfoliation, or if a separate plan tailored to the skin on my arms is necessary. Since it is a large area, I am also curious whether the entire area is treated at once or if the condition of specific parts is examined first. I would also like to ask which areas I should check first if the skin is dry or shows signs of scratching.

Are there any other aspects of daily life that we should consider, such as shower water temperature or friction from clothing? Rather than definitively identifying the cause, I would like to identify habits that may be causing recurring irritation. If I need to adjust my exercise or showering routine after the treatment, it would be helpful to be informed in advance of the extent of the changes so that I can schedule it more easily.

I would like to inquire if it is possible to receive treatment or consultation regarding the bumpy skin on my arms at the Hongdae Station branch. Rather than expecting the same results just by looking at photos of smooth arms, I would like to know the name of my condition and the scope of treatment first. I have always been very interested in facial care, but I was at a loss as to where to start when it comes to body skin, so I wrote this down step by step.
