Should I postpone a scheduled procedure on days when my skin is sensitive?
My skin isn't usually very sensitive, but sometimes when I'm not feeling well, my cheeks turn red and I feel a slight stinging sensation when applying skincare products.
If I start getting regular skin care, I don't think my skin will always be in good condition on the day of my appointment. I am wondering if it is okay to proceed with the scheduled treatment even on days like this.
I especially want to take care of the skin texture around my nose and cheeks, but I'm worried that if I irritate it more on days when my skin is sensitive, it might actually make the condition worse.
Is it possible to check my skin condition during the visit and adjust the treatment intensity or switch to a different treatment on that day?
I would also like to know if it is better to focus on soothing or moisturizing on days when my skin is severely red or tight, and then receive the treatment later.
