Can receiving aqua peels or chemical peels frequently put a strain on the skin barrier?
I usually have very severe blackheads around my nose and excess sebum in my pores, and I also get a lot of dead skin cells, so I started getting regular Aqua Peel and peeling treatments at a dermatology clinic. I have been satisfied with the treatments because they definitely control the oiliness and leave my skin feeling refreshed; however, recently, my skin seems to have gotten thinner, and it feels like it gets redder or more sensitive than before.
Hospitals usually recommend getting treatments regularly once or twice a month, saying it helps with sebum control and pore management. However, if I get peeling treatments too often, could it actually strip away my normal skin barrier and make my skin sensitive?
My friends tell me that even if men have thick sebaceous glands, peeling too often can damage the skin barrier, so I am wondering if I should reduce the frequency.

💊 My neck wrinkles look deeper during the change of seasons~ What kind of treatment should I get?[2]
CommentsThere are definitely limits to neck wrinkles with home care alone. Since wrinkles seem to stand out more during seasonal changes due to dryness, please make sure to moisturize well. Also, because the appropriate treatment varies depending on each individual's neck condition, I recommend asking about the treatment frequency and duration of the results during the consultation!170026.11.03 - 03CommentsI've been worried lately because my cheeks have been itchy and red, just like yours, so it's great to hear your story. I've heard that it's better to hydrate with a serum first rather than using an oily cream, so it might be a good idea to get some advice!190026.11.03
- 01CommentsIf it stings even after applying moisturizing cream, it might indicate that your skin barrier is weakened rather than just being dry. If it were me, instead of getting a skin booster right away, I would consider reducing the use of irritating products for a while, stabilize your skin condition with soothing care, and then think about the procedure.330026.10.30
