How to manage acne that doesn't fester and won't pop

They say that as you get older, sebum production decreases and acne lessens, but even now, at an age when wrinkles should be a concern, I still get acne. I'm trying my best to manage my acne, but because I secrete so much sebum, I feel like I'm not good enough to manage it myself. I focus on removing sebum and cleaning my pores, and while the whiteheads and pimples that fester on the surface have largely disappeared, it doesn't prevent pimples that fester internally and can't be squeezed out. I don't know how to manage pimples that fester internally and won't burst. I heard there's a laser treatment that blocks sebaceous gland activity. Would that help? Could you tell me how to manage my acne?
