I've been suffering from recurring acne for years and it's been incredibly stressful. Every time I look in the mirror, I see red, irritated acne and the scars that have already formed, which has really lowered my confidence. I've tried every acne-fighting skincare product and folk remedy I've heard are good, but they only work for a short time.
I've been thinking about visiting a dermatologist for acne management recently, but I'm concerned about cost and effectiveness. If you have any experience with effective acne management routines, products (especially soothing/moisturizing lines), or procedures, please share them with us.
