Would it be okay to just get acne extractions? ㅠㅠㅠ
I am looking for a dermatologist because of my acne, but the sheer number of treatment options is actually making me more confused. Some people say that consistent extraction alone is sufficient, while others say that laser treatments or anti-inflammatory injections are necessary for better results. So, I am really wondering if extraction alone is sufficient.
I tend to have both small bumps and inflammatory acne, especially on my chin and cheeks. It feels like it clears up immediately after extraction, but it’s frustrating because it seems to come back again very quickly. So, I’m considering whether I should get other acne treatments in addition to simple extraction.
Among acne treatments, things like Agnes or PDT are quite expensive, haha. I’m being cautious because it would be such a waste to get an expensive procedure only to find it ineffective. I want to know if recurring acne can be reduced with just extraction, or if other acne treatments are eventually necessary.
For those of you who have actually received acne treatments, please let me know if you were satisfied with just extractions!! I'm also curious to know which combination of acne treatments was the most effective~~

CommentsIt seems wise of you to be cautious with exfoliation when your cheeks feel tight and red due to the heating. I would also like to take your advice on whether I should consult about soothing care or a skin booster first.230026.11.03 - 03CommentsSince pitted marks, red marks, and pores differ from each other, it would be helpful if you could be explained the order in which they should be approached. Please also ask them to check first if any inflammation remains.250026.11.04
