By any chance, will the painful, hard pimple under my chin go down quickly if I get an anti-inflammatory injection?

For the past few days, I've had a hard, lump-like pimple pop up on the bone inside my jawline that hurts a lot to the touch. It won't pop, and on the surface, it just looks red, so I find myself frowning every time I look in the mirror. It's so stressful. I looked it up and read that extraction isn't an option and that I need to go to a dermatologist to get an anti-inflammatory injection to get it to go down. If anyone has had an anti-inflammatory injection for pimples on their jaw, I'm curious how long it usually takes to see results. I'm also scared about potential side effects like skin pitting after the injection, so I'm hesitant to go to the clinic. Please, I really need some real reviews in the comments. I'm so worried.
