I'm curious about the results for those who have consistently received acne skin care.
Lately, I have been getting recurring breakouts around my chin and cheeks, so I am considering getting professional acne treatment. In the past, I would only get one or two occasionally, but recently, as soon as one goes away, another one pops up in a different spot, making my skin feel constantly unstable. Even though I pay attention to cleansing and moisturizing at home, it doesn't seem to make much of a difference, so I am planning to try professional acne care.
However, after looking into it, I found that there are more types of treatments than I expected, such as extraction, soothing, exfoliation, and hydration. I am wondering whether the priority is to clear up the current breakouts or to start with treatments that soothe the skin itself. In particular, I tend to avoid overly stimulating treatments because I am worried my skin might become sensitive.
For those of you who have actually received acne skin care, how many sessions did you need to notice a change? I am curious whether your skin stabilized after just one or two sessions, or if you needed to treat it consistently for a few months to achieve high satisfaction. I would also like to know how you managed your skin at home while receiving the treatments.
If there are any others who, like me, have started acne skincare due to recurring breakouts, please share your experiences on which treatment was the most satisfying. I would also appreciate it if you could honestly let me know if your skin ever actually broke out after treatment.
