For those of you who have tried acne extraction, what is it like?
Hello. I keep getting small pimples around my nose and chin, so I am looking into acne skincare. I try not to touch them as much as possible because I am worried that squeezing them at home might leave scars or red marks, but as a result, it seems to be taking too long for them to disappear naturally.
So, I am thinking of getting professional extractions this time, and I am curious about the experiences of those who have actually had extractions done as part of acne skincare. I would like to know if the skin feels clear immediately after the procedure, or if redness remains for a few days. I am also wondering if it would be best to allow a few days of buffer time if I have an important schedule.
I would also like to know if it is better to manage a lot of milia in multiple sessions rather than extracting them all at once. I am also curious whether receiving regular acne treatments reduces the appearance of new breakouts, or if it only helps to clear up existing acne.
My skin isn't extremely sensitive, but it tends to leave marks for a long time if I handle it incorrectly, so I am a bit cautious. For those of you with experience in acne care, what other treatments did you receive besides extraction? If you also received soothing or moisturizing treatments, I am curious about your actual satisfaction level. Please let me know if there are any methods you would recommend to someone just starting acne care.
