My acne flares up significantly whenever I am under a lot of stress. Would acne care be helpful in this case as well?
Usually, it's okay, but if I get busy with work or don't get enough sleep, my skin reacts immediately.
If I stay up late for several days in a row or experience a lot of stress, I suddenly get multiple breakouts, and they tend to last for quite a while.
The strange thing is that once life stabilizes a little, it gets better again.
So at first, I thought it was just a matter of my condition, so I didn't think I needed to go to a dermatologist.
However, since this pattern keeps repeating, marks are accumulating and my skin texture feels like it's getting rougher, so lately I've been considering getting acne treatment.
Would it be helpful for someone like me, whose condition worsens significantly at specific times, to start managing it regularly?
I'm wondering if it's better to get acne treatments only when I have a lot of breakouts, or if it's better to take care of my skin consistently even when it's relatively calm.
I'm the type of person who lets my guard down once my skin looks better, so I always end up stopping my skincare routine lol.
Then, when it flares up again, I hurriedly switch my cosmetics, put on a soothing mask, and the cycle repeats.
I am wondering if my skin, which is so erratic like this, will stabilize if I establish a consistent care cycle.
And when stress feels like the cause, wouldn't it be much more important to change your sleep and eating habits along with acne skincare, rather than just getting treatments?
If there are any of you who actually adjusted your lifestyle habits along with starting skincare, I would like to hear what was most helpful.
I am also curious if receiving treatment immediately when it flares up severely feels like it speeds up recovery.
I'm not expecting to have absolutely no trouble, but I hope that even when a busy period comes, my skin doesn't turn out completely messed up like it used to.
If there are any of you who have experienced similar significant skin fluctuations depending on your condition and have consistently received acne skin care, please let me know what the before and after results were like haha.
