Is this adult acne? I'm going crazy because of the frequent pimples that pop up just when I think I've gotten over them.
Hello. Lately, I have reached the peak of stress due to pimples that repeatedly pop up in the same spot or on similar areas whenever I think I've gotten over them, so I am seeking advice.
My skin used to be relatively calm, but at some point, just when I thought a pimple on one side was finally subsiding, a red, painful breakout would creep up right next to it or in the exact same spot. I’ve switched all my cosmetics to ones with mild ingredients, adjusted my diet, and paid meticulous attention to my cleansing routine, but nothing seems to work. Pimples inevitably pop up, especially on days when I have an important appointment or need to take photos, so looking in the mirror every time I go out is stressful.
When I try to squeeze them out by myself at home, it only leaves deep scars or hyperpigmentation, and I can't extract them properly. I have reached the limit of managing this on my own, so I plan to visit a dermatologist.
For these adult skin troubles or recurring breakouts, which treatment is most effective: lasers that fundamentally reduce sebaceous glands (e.g., NeoBeam), extraction and scaling, or skincare like Aqua Peel? I would appreciate realistic treatment recommendations and advice to eradicate the problem at the root so that breakouts do not recur!
