Will visiting a dermatologist help with facial flushing, where the face easily turns red due to emotional changes or temperature differences?
Hello. I am asking for your help because my daily life is becoming uncomfortable due to my constantly red face and facial flushing that flares up easily.
At some point, whenever there is a slight temperature difference between indoors and outdoors, when I eat spicy food, or when I feel nervous or embarrassed, my face turns red like an apple, and the sensation of heat does not subside easily. In the past, it would return to normal quickly after a while, but lately, once it turns red, it lasts for a long time. Moreover, my face is chronically flushed even when I am not drinking, so I frequently hear people around me asking if I drank alcohol or if I am sick. It is so stressful because it cannot be covered up well even with makeup.
Even when I moisturize thoroughly and use soothing masks at home, the effect is only temporary. Perhaps because my capillaries are already dilated, I feel that there are clear limits to home care.
Ultimately, I would like to receive fundamental treatment with the help of a dermatologist. Which laser procedure is most effective for facial flushing? I would be very grateful if you could give me a rough estimate of whether I should get the commonly known V-Beam laser or thread treatments, the number of sessions and costs involved, and whether it interferes with my daily life!
