Is the acne treatment effective for the small bumps next to the nose?
Lately, I keep seeing small, bumpy spots on the area extending from the side of my nose to my cheek, so I am looking into acne treatments.
It isn't red, inflamed, or painful acne, but when I touch it, it feels like small granules, and when I apply makeup, my skin texture looks even more bumpy.
I thought it might be due to a buildup of dead skin cells, so I even tried using a peeling product, but after a few days, it went back to being the same, and my skin actually felt drier.
Can I expect acne treatment to be effective even on these small, millet-like bumps? I am curious whether acne treatment is typically only provided for severe inflammatory acne, or if consultations are also available for cases like mine where fine comedones recur.
If I start acne treatment, I would like to know whether I should start with extraction or try managing sebum and dead skin cells first.
