Can I see the effects of acne treatment without extraction?

I have small bumps on my cheeks and around my nose, so I am looking into acne treatment. I am writing to ask because I would prefer to avoid extraction if possible. I had extraction done before, and I remember my skin turning red and marks remaining for several days, so I am a bit hesitant about it.

The current skin trouble is not severely inflamed, but rather consists of very small, fine comedones.

In this case, is extraction absolutely necessary to see the effects of acne treatment?

I am wondering if there are acne treatment methods that allow for natural improvement by gently managing sebum and dead skin cells. When starting treatment, is it possible to selectively extract only the areas that require extraction and proceed with other treatments for the rest?

I want to improve my skin slowly without causing too much irritation.
