I am concerned about my cheek pores becoming more prominent the more makeup I apply.
Lately, I've been stressed about my cheek pores every time I apply makeup. From a distance, it looks fine, but up close, the pores on both cheeks are widely spread out, and the skin surface looks bumpy like an orange peel. It bothers me especially because the pores stand out more in bright lighting.
I've tried moisturizing and using products that are supposed to be good for pores, but there hasn't been much of a difference. In fact, the thicker my makeup is, the more foundation settles into my pores, making my skin look even worse.
I am curious to know which causes enlarged cheek pores—excess sebum or loss of elasticity—play a larger role. If I were to receive pore treatment at a dermatology clinic, which procedure should I consider first? I would also like to know if laser treatments or skin boosters are helpful. Even if it is difficult to completely eliminate pores, I would appreciate the opinions of clinic staff on whether they can be noticeably reduced and the skin texture can become smooth.
