Is a double chin lift usually very painful?? ㅠㅠ

I've been stressed about my double chin lately, so I'm looking into double chin lifts. However, since I'm such a scaredy-cat, I'm most worried about the pain. ㅠㅠ I see a lot of reviews saying it was fine, but there are also posts mentioning stinging or throbbing, so I'm getting nervous. lol

Especially for double chin lifting, since there are various types of lasers and methods, it seems like the results vary significantly :) I've seen comments saying that some procedures only use numbing cream, while others mention slight swelling!! That makes me search for reviews even more diligently haha.

I'm the type who tends to have extra fat under my chin, so I get self-conscious every time I take a photo. Even when I diet, the fat in this area just doesn't go away, which makes me feel a bit upset. That's why I'm really envious of how the jawline looks defined when I see reviews of double chin lifts.

But since my skin is on the sensitive side, I'm also worried about the swelling lasting a long time haha. Since I work, the recovery period is important too!! Some people said they were able to go back to their daily lives right away, while others said it was sore for a few days, so I guess it varies from person to person :)

I keep getting more interested because I hear a lot of people say that a successful double chin lift makes the whole face look more defined haha. I get really tempted, especially when I see reviews saying the side profile looks prettier!!

If anyone has had a double chin lift, I'm curious to know how much pain it actually caused. ^^ Also, please let me know how long the swelling and bruising lasted.
