Differences between freckle and melasma treatment

I got the procedure done today.

I have a question, so I'm leaving a message.

I had moles and flat warts removed from my face, and while I was at it, I wanted to get my freckles removed as well, but they said I couldn't because the treatment for freckles is different.

First of all, I'm curious if this is true... (Because I didn't consult with the doctor... Do you not usually consult with doctors before the procedure? I'm not the only one, right?)

I was told to get laser treatment and some kind of injection for freckle treatment, but I'm wondering if that's really necessary.

I'm writing this because I want to get treatment, but I'm wondering if I can't just get laser treatment.

I would also like to know what treatment is recommended for freckles.
