To look youthful, the skin under the eyes needs to be firm and full without any unevenness. However, as you can see, I have a lot of fine lines and diagonal indentations, plus severe dark circles—it is a total disaster. I know it is an inevitable part of aging, but the signs of under-eye aging are noticeably more severe than those of my peers, so I find myself comparing myself to them. Moreover, as my skin has become drier since autumn, the fine lines have become even more pronounced, making me feel like I’ve been hit directly by the effects of aging under my eyes.
