The white sebum granules embedded deep within the skin constantly resurface, much like oil gushing from an oil field. In fact, perhaps due to excessive irritation, the skin barrier around my chin has recently thinned, causing it to redden easily, and the frequency of whiteheads developing into inflammatory acne has only increased.
I’ve tried gently rolling cleansing oil on my face, and I’ve also used peeling agents or toners containing AHA and BHA regularly, but the whiteheads on my chin seem to have deep roots; I just can't seem to get rid of them. Do you happen to have any skincare routines or "holy grail" products that have been effective for smoothing out hardened sebum and unevenness on your chin like I have? Alternatively, I’m wondering if it would be a good idea to get regular aqua peels or extraction treatments at a dermatologist's office.
