As soon as summer began, pustular acne literally exploded on my face. Perhaps due to the sudden increase in sweat and oil production as the weather heated up, my cheeks and chin are covered in painful, red pimples that won't pop and throb to the touch. Looking in the mirror causes me immense stress. Even when I apply soothing pads or sheet masks that usually work for me, the relief is only temporary; when I wake up, new pustular acne has popped up here and there. How on earth am I supposed to soothe this pustular acne that suddenly flared up like this due to rising temperatures in the summer? I am currently unable to even touch it because I am afraid that improper home care might leave scars. Please let me know if there is an effective daily soothing routine I can do at home besides dermatological procedures, or if there are any skincare ingredients (such as tea tree oil, Houttuynia cordata, or Cica) that you would recommend specifically for pustular skin during the summer. I desperately need a way to manage this.
