Now that it's summer, my hair gets oily quickly and I'm getting pimples on my scalp.
I am posting this because my scalp problems have gotten really bad lately as the weather has gotten hotter. My hair used to be fine even if I washed it every other day, but now that it's summer, even if I wash it in the morning, it seems to get oily starting from the crown of my head and start to smell by the afternoon.
Furthermore, recently, painful pimples resembling acne have appeared here and there on my scalp, causing severe stinging pain whenever I brush my hair. Thinking it might be due to excessive sweating, I have been paying extra attention to shampooing thoroughly and drying my hair well, but the bumps are not subsiding easily. Would switching to a cooling shampoo or one for oily hair help? Or I am unsure if I need to use a product like a scalp scaler.
Is there an effective way to soothe a scalp irritated by summer sweat and oil through home care? I eagerly await advice from those who have experienced similar concerns or found a solution.
