Inquiry regarding groin (Y-zone) discoloration removal

Hello~ I've recently developed a concern while swimming. I'm a bit of a traditionalist, so I used to only wear swimsuits with low cuts... but I thought I'd try a high-cut one, so I wore one a couple of times. Now, I find high-cut swimsuits more comfortable, so I've come to enjoy them.

But the problem is... the skin in my groin area—the so-called Y-zone—has turned dark and discolored from the panty line, and it looks really awful. I didn't notice it when I wore low-cut or mid-cut shorts, but it really stands out now that I'm wearing high-cut shorts. Of course, I know nobody is staring only at this spot, but it bothers me so much that I want to find a way to get rid of the discoloration. Would laser treatments or whitening procedures work? I'd like to know what treatments are suitable and what the approximate cost is.
