The red acne marks won't go away.

I have some red acne scars on my cheeks and chin. Can they go away naturally? I looked it up and it says that it can take anywhere from a few months to a few years to go away naturally. I want to get rid of them quickly. I'm getting married next year and I feel like I can't really cover them up with makeup alone. I don't really care about my skin, so I thought they would go away naturally. They seem to be fading, but they're not enough. I didn't want to spend money on them if they were meant to go away, but I'm curious to know what treatments are available, so I'm asking.
