I think the answer to skin problems is to check in advance.
Going to the dermatologist used to feel like a burden, but these days, it feels more like a checkup. It's a relief to get a checkup every once in a while before something major happens.
When I actually get counseling, just hearing, "This is fine for now," puts me at ease. It's much better than worrying and searching on my own. Haha. Since I can just pick and choose the treatments I need, it's also less stressful.
I think it's important to find a place that doesn't overly recommend things and focuses on explaining your current situation. Once you settle on one place, the management process itself becomes a routine.
It seems like it's more of a hassle to touch up your skin after it's been exposed. Even if it's not a major procedure, just developing the habit of checking it beforehand makes it much easier to manage.
