I want to solve my concerns about acne pigmentation in the mirror.

Lately, every time I wake up in the morning and wash my face, I am surprised by how different my skin looks compared to before. In the past, it seemed like my skin would clear up quickly after just a few days, but now, once a breakout sets in, it shows absolutely no signs of disappearing. In particular, the deep acne pigmentation around my cheeks makes my skin look dull even when I apply layers of makeup, which makes me feel very upset when looking in the mirror. I have consistently used highly-rated vitamin ampoules and slathered on brightening creams every night, but these acne marks just stubbornly remain on my skin. I keep reflecting on myself, wondering if it is because my skin regeneration speed has noticeably slowed down with age, or if my daily habits are just wrong. Trying to cover it up with makeup makes my skin look too heavy and stuffy, but leaving it alone leaves the acne pigmentation too noticeable. Because these areas stand out so much, I am extremely self-conscious every time I go out. Are there any of you who have wisely resolved similar concerns regarding acne pigmentation, or do you have any special skincare routines you would recommend?
