I am writing to inquire because my skin texture seems to have become significantly rougher after taking off my mask.
Since I stopped wearing a mask almost entirely this spring, my skin condition seems to have actually worsened. I didn't really notice it while wearing it, but after taking it off, I saw that the fine lines around my mouth and chin, as well as the texture, had become much rougher. I feel like my skin has lost its vitality overall, perhaps due to increased UV exposure and a weakened skin barrier caused by the dry weather. I've tried switching out various cosmetics, but there hasn't been much difference, so I decided I need to seriously look into professional dermatological care.
While researching acne care, I heard there are procedures that address skin texture improvement and pore management in addition to simple breakout care. I am unsure if I should consult about these treatments even if my goal is to improve fine lines and skin texture. I am also curious which category I should consider if my primary concern is texture or elasticity rather than breakouts, and if there are programs available for overall skin care. I am also wondering if it is common to combine multiple treatments.
I would like to know in advance if it is okay to be exposed to UV rays after the procedure and if there are any precautions I should take during my daily life. I would also like to ask if starting at this time is seasonal.
Since it's my first time, it's hard to figure out the right direction. I would be really grateful for any advice from someone knowledgeable.
