My skin texture is really rough overall; will it get soft if I get a scaling treatment? lol

Maybe it's because I've been working a lot of late nights, but even though I don't have any huge pustules like in my photo, my skin texture has become rough and incredibly dry overall. When I wash my face, it doesn't feel smooth; it feels coarse, as if old dead skin cells have piled up, and my complexion has turned completely sallow. Scrubbing at home only irritates my skin and doesn't help, so I'm looking into exfoliation treatments at a dermatologist's office. If I get a thorough, low-irritation peeling or scaling treatment that dissolves sebum and dead skin cells, will my skin really become soft and glowing from within? I'm curious if it's a treatment that doesn't hurt or cause redness, and if it helps makeup apply well right away. Please,先輩s, give me some advice on what kind of treatments you get at a dermatologist's office when your skin texture becomes rough like mine.
