I am worried because it seems there are limits to managing acne-prone skin with home care alone.

여드름 피부는 홈케어만으로 관리하는 데 한계가 있는 것 같아서 고민입니다

My skin was fine for a while, so I let my guard down, and at some point, acne started popping up one by one.

At first, I thought it was just because I wasn't feeling well, but since it keeps happening over time, it's really bothering me now.

What’s particularly strange is that there are days when my skin seems to be improving, only to suddenly flare up. I haven’t even eaten anything greasy, so I really don’t know why.

I looked it up online and saw a lot of talk saying that for acne-prone skin, it is more important to receive treatment tailored to your skin condition rather than managing it on your own, so I am considering getting some treatment myself.

If anyone has received skin care for acne-prone skin, what criteria did you use to choose your initial treatment? I am curious whether recommendations are made based on your skin condition during the consultation, or if you are allowed to select the treatments you want.

I would also like to know what changed first after you started the treatment. I am curious if fewer new pimples appeared, if you felt like your sebum production decreased, or if your skin itself became much more comfortable.

I struggle with acne, but I also have severe oiliness, so my skin breaks down quickly by the afternoon. I’d like to hear from those who have experience on whether this can be improved as well.

I feel like it would be better to get proper care rather than just buying various products to manage it on my own. For those of you who have actually received treatments, how satisfied were you? If you have any treatments you recommend, please let me know why. Thank you! :)
