I want to manage acne scars and red marks as well.
I am concerned about the many red marks remaining on my face from when I used to have severe acne. Although I don't get as many new pimples as I used to, the marks make my skin look uneven overall. Therefore, I am looking for ways to manage these marks as well, not just reduce the acne itself.
When I thought of acne care, I used to assume it was mainly about extraction, but after doing some research, I found there are various types such as soothing, regenerating, and exfoliating treatments. I am wondering what kind of treatment would be best for me if I currently don't have much acne and my main concerns are redness and skin texture.
I am cautious because while there is talk that exfoliation improves skin texture, it can also be irritating to acne-prone skin. If anyone has actually received treatment for red marks or rough skin texture left after acne has cleared up, I am curious to know what kind of program you received.
I would appreciate it if you could let me know how many sessions it took to see changes, and whether you also changed the cosmetics you use at home or your lifestyle habits. Rather than expecting big results right away, I plan to continue taking care of my skin consistently to gradually improve its condition.
