I'm curious if middle school students get acne treatment often.
My daughter has been getting a lot of acne on her forehead and cheeks lately, so I am looking into acne treatments. At first, I thought it was just because of puberty, but the affected areas are getting wider and leaving red marks, so it is starting to worry me.
I have been trying facial cleansers and acne-specific cosmetics at home, but it doesn't seem to be improving much, so I am considering getting treatment at a dermatologist. Since I am still a student, I want to avoid overly irritating procedures, and I am looking for a method that allows for consistent care while being gentle on my child's skin.
I am curious about how often middle school students receive acne treatment. I would like to know if treatments like extraction, anti-inflammatory injections, or acne lasers are helpful, and how many sessions are typically required to see noticeable improvement once treatment begins.
I am also curious whether it is finished after one or two treatments, or if I need to receive them consistently at intervals of a few weeks. If anyone has treated acne for a middle school student, please share your experience regarding the treatment method and how many sessions it took to feel results.
