Do the white sebum accumulating next to the nose need to be extracted?
Lately, when I look at my nose and the sides of my nose, I can see white sebum clogging up inside the pores even after washing my face, so it bothers me.
It feels like something would come out if I pressed it with my finger, so I sometimes want to touch it, but I hold back because I'm afraid squeezing it might make my pores wider or cause inflammation. I've even tried massaging it with cleansing oil for a long time, but it only looks a little cleaner that day; after a few days, it goes back to looking similar.
I am wondering if this white sebum is normal to some extent, or if it is better to remove it through skincare.
Is there a way to manage sebum buildup to prevent it from accumulating, rather than just squeezing it out? I see small sebum spots not only on my nose but also on the cheeks next to it, so I would like to receive advice on how to manage it overall.
