My skin is on the sensitive side; will I be able to receive acne treatment without any issues?
My skin is sensitive and now I'm getting acne too, so I really don't know what to do lol.
My skin tends to sting and turn red quickly if I wash my face for even a little too long or use new cosmetics, yet I consistently get breakouts.
So I tried using only gentle products and simplifying my skincare routine, but that didn't really make my acne decrease significantly.
I'm actually worried my skin will get dry, so if I moisturize too much, I get that breakout feeling the next day, but if I apply it lightly, it feels really tight, so it's always a dilemma.
I keep wondering if it's okay to get acne treatment in this condition.
I'm afraid my skin might become more sensitive if I get extractions or exfoliation.
By any chance, do people with sensitive skin adjust the intensity of their acne skincare routine before starting?
I am wondering if there are days when you focus on soothing based on your current skin condition, rather than unconditionally applying strong extraction or sebum control.
I much prefer my skin to stabilize slowly without irritation rather than getting better quickly.
I am wondering if the management approach will be adjusted if I explain in detail during the first consultation that my skin usually turns red easily and sometimes stings even when I just apply cosmetics.
I would also like to know if my skin might temporarily become drier or redder after receiving acne treatment.
I am also curious how long that reaction usually lasts.
I have to wear makeup on weekdays, so it would be a bit inconvenient if my skin were too sensitive the very next day after getting treatment.
I am also curious about home care.
While receiving treatment, would it be better to keep it simple with just cleansing and moisturizing rather than using various functional products?
If there are any of you who have started acne skincare because you have sensitive skin like me and recurring breakouts, please let me know how you started.
I'm also curious if there are any people who felt their skin actually became more comfortable and stable while receiving treatment.
