I'm still debating whether I really need to get extractions done when I get acne treatments.
To be honest, just hearing the word "extraction" makes me a little scared, haha.
My skin isn't smooth and I have recurring breakouts, so I want to try acne treatment, but I'm hesitant because I've seen many reviews saying that red marks are left after extraction.
I know I shouldn't touch it with my hands, so I try to hold back as much as possible these days. However, if I leave it as is, the bumpy feeling lingers, and it bothers me even more when I do my makeup.
So I'm wondering if they always start with extraction when you get acne treatment.
Depending on the skin condition, are there cases where management focuses on sebum control or soothing rather than excessive extraction?
I'm worried about the pain, but I'm even more scared that my skin might become more sensitive after the treatment lol.
I am also curious if you can feel your skin texture becoming smooth immediately after extraction.
On the other hand, my skin actually looks bumpy or red on the day I squeeze it, so I also want to know how many days it takes for it to get better.
When receiving acne treatment, are there cases where extraction is performed in several sessions rather than doing a large amount at once?
If you have sensitive skin like me, I think it would be better to take it slow.
I am also curious about how long I should take a break from makeup after extraction.
I can't go without makeup at all on weekdays, so I'm wondering if it would be better to get it done before the weekend.
If anyone has consistently received acne treatments focused on extraction, I am curious if it hurts at first but you get used to it.
I would like to know if, after receiving it a few times, there is less to extract, making management feel a bit easier.
Rather than getting it clean right now, I'd like the recurring bumps to decrease.
For those of you who hesitated to get acne treatment because of the extraction process, please honestly let me know how it went after actually trying it haha.
