I have red breakouts on my cheeks. How should I manage them?

I took a picture because there is a red bump on my cheek.
If you look at the photo, there is a part at the top that looks like a red blemish, and there are also some small marks around it.
In this case, would it be better to wait and try to soothe the skin for now, or would it be better to get treatment at a dermatology clinic?
As the weather gets colder these days, my skin feels dry, so I'm wondering how to take care of it.
I've heard that it's best to avoid exfoliating when you have skin troubles, so would it be better to use the mildest moisturizing products possible as well?
And I'm wondering if marks can remain even after these red blemishes subside.
I also want to know how dermatologists distinguish between inflamed acne and simple skin irritation.
Is it okay to get a skin care treatment while I have skin trouble, or would it be better to wait until it has completely subsided?
I'm wondering what kind of care I should start with if I have red areas on my cheeks like in the picture haha.
