Men's lower body laser inquiry

I just got laser hair removal for men's lower body.

I received it for the first time.

There is absolutely no difference in my hair before and after going to the dermatologist. Is this correct?

If you search for reviews of men's laser hair removal on Naver, you'll see that they say they laser the roots, even if the hair isn't visibly damaged, but you can see some of it disappearing. My hair is exactly the same. It's as if I hadn't shaved. The hair above my philtrum is all sticking out.

And they say it's a little painful, but I have thin and sensitive skin, so I didn't feel any pain at all. It didn't even sting.
