It seems like the melasma on my cheekbones has definitely gotten darker during the change of seasons. Should I get a consultation for Pico Toning?

Since autumn began, when I go out during the day and come back, my face seems to turn red, leaving some discoloration in those spots. I am particularly concerned about the brown spots around my cheekbones, which have become more pronounced; looking in the mirror, they definitely seem darker, perhaps due to the change of seasons. Which should I consult about first, Pico Toning or Dual Toning? I am also curious about the level of pain during the procedure, whether scabs form, and whether I can apply makeup and return to my daily routine immediately afterward. I would like to know how many sessions, spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart, are needed to see noticeable lightening. I have also heard that melasma can actually darken after laser treatments, so I would like to ask how to minimize that possibility. My skin has been dry lately, causing flaking; I would appreciate it if you could advise on how to moisturize before the procedure and whether I can start applying sunscreen the day after.
