I have asked about this a few times and am well aware that it can take a long time, but in the case of my neck, it seems to be fading little by little.
But the scar on my face has gotten darker than it was 9 days ago.
It seems like the color has gotten darker. Is this normal? I am applying a regenerating cream morning and evening, and I am taking care of my skin by avoiding UV rays completely.
I keep telling myself it will get better, but I'm really stressed because even after searching online, it seems like there are hardly any people with scars as severe as mine.
Also, I have another question. If you look at this scar, the area shaved off by the laser is much smaller, but the surrounding area is red and wider. I looked it up and it seems to be caused by the heat from the laser. Is this correct, and is it common? The area around my eyes, where I managed it with eye ointment instead of Duoderm, is clean without anything like that. I'm wondering if this mark could have been caused by the Duoderm, and even if it is, will it disappear over time just like that?
