There are so many types of pore treatments that I have trouble deciding... Are they effective?

It's gotten hotter lately, hasn't it? Maybe it's because of the heat, but my pores seem to look especially wider these days. It's gotten to the point where I can actually see cosmetics getting stuck deep inside them... so I've decided to get a procedure. I really want to get a pore treatment.
But when I actually looked into it, I realized there is an endless variety of pore treatments. I heard some are painful because they feel like they're scraping away at the skin, while others use fine needles to promote new skin growth. As someone with such decision-making difficulties, I really don't know which one to choose. I'm scared of the ones that are too painful, but I'd also be upset if I spent money and saw no results, so I keep feeling very conflicted.
I have only one wish. I want my rough skin texture to become a bit smoother and the large pores to look even slightly tighter. I would be concerned if the pore treatment significantly interfered with my daily life, so I am also very curious about how long the scabs last.
