Is extraction scaling the answer to the milia on my lower face that flare up every time the seasons change?

It seems my immune system drops every time the seasons change, as I get a lot of painful, red, tiny pimples on both my cheeks and jawline. They feel bumpy to the touch and bother me, but I'm afraid that poking at them with a cotton swab at home will just leave scars, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I am considering getting laser treatments, professional scaling, or extraction care to manage my sebaceous glands, and I would like to hear the opinions of those who have experience.
For adult acne that is irritated and red like this, would it be better to blindly scrape out the sebum with deep cleansing or scaling, or would it be more effective to first receive gentle soothing and moisturizing care to calm the skin barrier?
I would also like to know how often (e.g., once a week) I usually need to visit a dermatologist or a skincare clinic to see noticeable soothing!
If anyone has struggled with jawline trouble every change of season and seen results with professional care, please share any recommended treatments or tips you have.
