I am concerned about enlarged cheek pores that get worse as I get older.
Lately, I've been worried because the skin on my cheeks looks particularly messy. I didn't used to be very concerned about my pores, but at some point, I started seeing tiny holes on both cheeks, and my skin texture feels rougher. The pores are especially noticeable when I look closely in the mirror after washing my face.
I'm not sure if it's because my skin is losing elasticity as I get older, or if my existing pores are just getting wider. I've been consistently using moisturizers and pore-specific cosmetics, but it's not improving as much as I expected. Even when I apply makeup, my cheeks don't look smooth, which is subtly bothering me.
Is it difficult to improve cheek pores with general sebum management alone? I am wondering if there are any procedures that can manage both skin elasticity and pores simultaneously. I am also considering Fraxel or other laser treatments; I would appreciate advice from hospital staff regarding the pain level, recovery period, and whether people with sensitive skin can undergo these treatments.
