Can I use the Vitamin C essence along with the Pico Toning cycle for my darkened melasma?

Since autumn started, the freckles and blemishes on both my cheeks and cheekbones seem to have strangely darkened noticeably, so I just sigh every time I look in the mirror these days. I wonder if the UV exposure from all summer is finally coming to the surface, and my skin tone looks dull overall, so I really want to brighten it up to a clear complexion.

I am considering taking this opportunity to consistently receive Pico Toning or laser toning for blemishes, but before consulting a dermatologist, I would like to ask those with experience a few questions!

I am curious about the typical treatment cycle (e.g., once a week) and recommended basic number of sessions for laser toning for conditions like cheek melasma or dull pigmentation. I would also like to know if performing hydration or barrier care a few days before the laser treatment reduces irritation and improves the results.

Also, lately I’ve been applying Vitamin C serum every morning to try and improve my skin tone at home. Once I start laser treatments, should I temporarily stop using Vitamin C serums or functional essences before and after, or is it okay to continue using them?

My skin is a bit sensitive and dry due to the change of seasons. If anyone has seen good results combining gentle soothing and moisturizing care with laser treatment, please share any tips or reviews!
