Would it actually be helpful to take photos to record the process once I start laser therapy?
I tend not to notice subtle changes in my skin because I look in the mirror every day, haha. So I'm thinking about taking proper photos before starting the laser treatment.
However, phone photos make skin look completely different depending on the lighting or angle, so I'm not sure how to take them to make a comparison.
Do those receiving laser treatments actually keep their own before and after photos?
Would it be enough to take just the front and sides in the same location with the same lighting?
I think it would be better to compare on a monthly basis rather than checking the difference of a day or two.
I feel like I would get unnecessarily anxious if I looked in the mirror every time to check if I looked better or not.
Since the results of the laser may appear gradually, keeping a record would likely be helpful during consultations as well.
On the other hand, I'm also a little worried that the phone camera captures my skin so clearly that I might end up worrying about even the smallest things.
I'm curious if there are people who keep simple notes about their skin condition or how they feel while applying makeup, in addition to photos.
For example, just noting down things like tightness after washing your face or areas that bothered you more than usual.
For those of you who have received laser treatment for a few months, what method did you find most objective for checking the changes?
Please share your experience on whether you felt it was a good idea to keep photos as a record :)
