I am planning to get a consultation for laser treatment for blemishes. Is it okay to apply Vaseline hand cream to the back of my hands after the procedure?
It’s not that I started a winter care routine morning and evening, but my hands have become unusually dry, with white flakes of dead skin forming. Since I wash the backs of my hands along with my face, they feel tighter before my face does. Usually, when my hands get rough, I carry Vaseline Extra Moisturizing Hand Cream with me and apply it frequently; I have attached a photo of the product. I am concerned about some light blemishes on my cheeks and am planning to get a consultation for a toning laser treatment. I am wondering if I can continue using this hand cream after the procedure. I heard that I need to be careful with cleansing and moisturizing after laser treatments. Since it is fragrance-free and focuses solely on hydration, I don't think it will cause irritation, but I am curious if I need to take a break from applying it around the treated area for a few days, or if I can just use a soothing cream on my face and continue using this on my hands. When the backs of my hands are dry as well, the dead skin cells make my skin tone look even duller. I would appreciate answers from those who have received this treatment or from doctors. I would like to organize my skincare routine before it gets cold.
